This is the perfect tour to know the most of the city in the least amount of time. We’ll start walking through the most traditional districts of the city, such as Alfama and Baixa. In Baixa we’ll see how busy the city can get in a traditional day of shopping and in Alfama we’ll have the chance to cross the labyrintical streets once inhabited by the Arabs. After tasting the famous Port Wine, we’ll go back to the car that will take us to Belém, the district where in the 16th century; many Portuguese navigators have departed in search of the New World. We couldn’t miss a visit to the Jerome’s Monastery and the Tower of Belém, both declared World Heritage sites by the UNESCO, and also take a peek at the Monument to the Discoveries, masterpiece that highlights the characters related to the Golden Age of Portugal.
